1. We recognize the Bible as a culmination of books written by chosen individuals at diverse times and in diverse places; written as those individuals were directed by God.
2. We recognize that all scripture (the Bible) is given for our instruction regarding the truth to bring all men into the knowledge of God and into relationship with God.
3. We recognize that the scripture is written to document mankind’s progressive relationship with the Creator - from man’s original relationship with the absolute and holy God and true Father through the fall of mankind from that relationship by his succumbing to evil and betraying God’s natural order (resulting in poverty, grief, deception, bondage, infirmity and death), to God’s plan to restore all people to Himself through the removal of sin (evil).
4. We recognize the Gospel (good news) of the kingdom is that, through the work of God in bringing Jesus into the earth to exhibit God’s perfect idea for all men (i.e., holy and in perfect order and relationship with the Father), His innocent and sacrificial death was sufficient to provide forgiveness and restoration for all people. It is the demonstration of God’s love for us; not only restoring us as individuals, but destroying the ramification of sin (i.e., poverty, grief, deception, bondage, sickness, and, ultimately, death) and giving the free gift of eternal life to those believing on Him.
5. We recognize that the Eternal Spirit who is God is the eternal life that empowered Jesus to work miracles, heal sick bodies, restore sin-sick souls, set people free from demonic oppression, explain the mysteries of the universe, raise people from the dead and, ultimately, rise from the dead Himself; therein, doing what no other man in history has done. No religious leader or prophet or great man, no mighty orator or psychic or leader of any other belief system has claimed before or ever since at any time that they rose or even would rise from the dead (thereby escaping the penalty of their own sin - death) but this man; herein demonstrating God’s power over death itself and testifying to the fact that this man’s promises of eternal life to us are true.
