Ten Church Ordinances

I. We as ambassadors for Christ believe that our Actions (works) should reflect the faith we
profess, exhibiting the Love and wisdom which is becoming of a child of God.

II. We hold that in Christ we should need no external law, for the Spirit of God itself becomes
a law of love, prudence, and discretion in our heart.

III. We hold that external law is only for the law transgressors and those immature in love or
lacking in wisdom.

IV. We believe that though we are free from external rule, we should not be ruled or
controlled by anything save the Lord and that which is according to His direction, holding our
freedom as a precious gift.

V. We believe that though we are free from external rule, we should not be in any excesses of
life, avoiding all substance abuse and drunkenness, walking in the moderation that is according
to wisdom.

VI. We believe that though we are free from external rule, we should do all things in selfless
love, avoiding things that may cause a brother or sister to stumble through weakness of faith or
character.

VII. We believe that though we are free from external rule, we hold not this liberty to justify
pursuing selfish lusts or worldly gain, but as debtors to the Lord we live a life of service and
submission to the Lord.

VIII. We believe that though we are free from external rule, we should use every God-given
opportunity to bless and not curse, build and not destroy, edifying the body of Christ in all
things.

IX. We believe that though we are free from external rule, we should recognize that the
world's governments and law enforcements are serving a Godly purpose in restraining
anarchy. And we endeavor to cooperate with them as much as our faith permits.

X. We believe that a healthy and mature disciple of Christ will strive toward excellence in:

  • Article 1. A life of fellowship with the saints, not neglecting the assembly
  • Article 2. A prayerful life filled with thanksgiving and praise to God
  • Article 3. A life that is of faith in the truth found within God's words
  • Article 4. A life that shares the faith of God in Christ with the world
  • Article 5. A life that selflessly serves our brothers and sisters in the family of God
  • Article 6. A life of alignment to the leadership of the fellowship in which we are fed
  • Article 7. A life of generous giving to the work of the Lord
